FACILITIES IN THE COLLEGE

 

 

• Drinking water:  college has pure drinking water facility with water purifiers and coolers. Water is drawn from open well situated in the college campus which is abundant in water.

•  

• Canteen: There is a college canteen inside the college campus which provides hygienic food at reasonable price.

•  

• Ladies Waiting Room: A ladies’ rest room is located in the ground floor of the college building with sanitation and toilets facilities. One more spacious girl’s rest room is under construction in the first floor of the college building with the UGC Grants.

•  

• Sufficient toilets for both boys and girls: sufficient number of boys and girls toilet facility has been provided in the college. Apart from this, two new toilets are under construction.

•  

• Play ground: Plain land of about 3 acres has been earmarked for play ground. Proposal has been sent to UGC for construction of stadium.  

•  

• Auditorium:  There is an auditorium with a seating capacity of 300. Alumni association of this college is planning to construct an outdoor auditorium.

•  

• Gymnasium : To get ‘Sound Mind in Sound Body, ‘Department  of Physical Education has procured and installed a Multi -Gym Station in the college with the UGC sports Grants. It helps students to achieve strength and endurance.

•  

• Free internet facility in library and computer lab: College has 3 HIGH SPEED BROAD BAND Internet connections, one in Library, one in Main computer lab/office and another in the Career and Counseling cell under NME (National Mission for Education) project. 

• Free Internet access is provided to the faculty and students to enable them to retrieve online information related to their area of interest.

 

• Edusat : UGC has provided and installed EDUSAT facility in the college auditorium.

 

• Modern teaching aids: every class room is fitted with projection boards (white ceramic boards) as well as green boards. Dust free chalks are being used. There are 4 modern sleek projectors for teaching and presentation purposes.

•  

• Vehicle parking area: Separate Vehicle parking areas have been provided by the College Development Committee for students and staff.

•  

• Spacious and well ventilated class rooms: Class rooms are spacious and well ventilated. Fans and lighting facility is sufficient. Folding type molded benches and desks are convenient for the students. Projectors and white boards have been installed in each and every class rooms. 24 hours vigillance through  CC cameras, and Speaker systems have also been Installed.

•  

• Bus facility: Since the college is situated in the outskirts of the town, private bus operators have extended bus services to the college campus.
