Virtual Classes:

"Virtual Class" is a computing platform where the Video Lectures stored in the Media Server are accessed on-demand for Live-

Streaming.

Current pedagogical trends employ e-educational resources.  A gamut of e-contents in the form of video lectures, e-Books, audio books

and lecture notes pertaining to the undergraduate course syllabi, extra-curricular programmes and personality development modules

available online as open course ware are being pooled in for invigorating teaching and learning in Government First Grade Colleges of Karnataka.

Marking the gaps in the available e-contents and the topics prescribed in the syllabi, lectures by subject experts are being recorded at the

Department Studio.  Wireless Local Area Networks are set up for enabling students to access the stored e-contents through their smart phones and tablets. 

Virtual Classes are intended to supplement the traditional teaching methods and enable students to access useful Open Course Ware

content offline. Wireless Server is installed in our library to access Virtual Class Videos. Students have to register their mobile phones to a access this facility and requested to contact Librarian for more information.
